I am an amateur photographer from the Pacific Northwest. This site is less a portfolio and more a dumping ground of photos I took that I’m mildly pleased with. This is one of a handful of hobbies that I know I’m not particularly good at. It’s mostly for my own enjoyment that just happens to be published for all to see on the internet.

At age 16 I bought my first DSLR. After fiddling with that but lacking any sort of commitment that would have seen me improve, I sold it and bought a cheap analog SLR. My low level involvement with photography continued to this day, but now I’m middle aged and only a little bit better at taking photos than when I first started.

The photos here are a mixture of analog and digital, but I don’t care to romanticize or evangelize either medium. I just like taking photos.
